Job summary This role requires an individual to join the Intellectual Disability & Developmental Service (IDD) Single Point of Access (SPA) team working on a part time basis. We are seeking an individual with excellent organisational skills with the ability to work without direct supervision, prioritising all incoming referrals and acting on own initiative, where required; pre-empting issues and working to solve them in an appropriate manner. In addition, capability of providing a good typing, secretarial and customer service, applying effective written and verbal communication systems and also working as part of a team Responsible for all aspects of secretarial and administrative support provided to the IDD Single Point of Access Team. Main duties of the job To be responsible for processing all incoming referrals to the SPA. To be responsible for data input in electronic records to support the regular flow of information between SPA, clinical teams and other partner agencies/departments as required. To ensure that electronic systems are kept up to date at all times by entering and amending patient details onto the computer database as required to allow audit and review information and relevant reports to be produced as required. To contribute to the provision of administration services to the IDD team ensuring that the work load is prioritised. Attend the daily referral meeting and update the SPA workbook in a timely manner.
