We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Sales Operations Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of our events, trade shows, and exhibitions across the UK and Ireland.
Working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a pivotal role in planning and coordinating event logistics, providing critical support to our team on the ground. From managing self-employed logistics drivers to overseeing storage units and refining logistical processes, you will be at the heart of our operational success.
This is a hybrid working role, offering flexibility with two days working from home or in the field, alongside occasional storage unit check-ins. Our office days at the Box Office are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
A bit more about the job:
* You’ll oversee the placement and setup of Butternut Box and Marro (cats) stands at a variety of events across the UK, with up to 30 events occurring simultaneously, including those we sponsor.
* Work closely with the team to plan and manage a fortnightly schedule of events, ensuring smooth coordination with Event Coordinators and driving the execution of each event.
* Provide support to the Events Logistics Manager on key projects, including Crufts, DogFest, Retail, and Marro.
* Plan and execute logistics strategies to ensure each event runs seamlessly, from initial planning through to post-event debriefing.
* Attend select events to oversee stand setups and ensure a strong brand presence.
* Manage and develop the logistics team, anticipating growth as we expand into Scotland.
* Ensure all event stands are presented to the highest standard, working closely with the Events Team to continually enhance appearance and impact.
* Oversee the management and organisation of event equipment and stock, monitoring inventory levels and coordinating orders, including treats from the fulfilment centre and additional supplies for on-site product sampling.
A bit about you:
* You have proven experience in a logistics, event operations or similar role, ideally within a similar industry.
* You have a full, clean UK driving licence.
* You are highly organised, with a keen eye for detail, while able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
* You are an excellent communicator, both in person and virtually.
* You take pride in your attention to detail and the quality of your work.
* You have strong problem-solving skills and think outside the box to overcome challenges.
* You are proficient in Google Sheets, Slides, and KPI reporting.
