Assist in the implementation of Information Governance best practices and standards, within the department and Trust-wide. Write reports and procedural documentation to the required standard making best use of Microsoft Office applications. Provide effective and line management support for junior staff and their workloads, taking responsibility for staff performance. Manage the Registration Authority service as required to ensure the correct use of smartcards. Undertake compliance audits in accordance with national guidance. Assist with investigations from incidents logged in DATIX and with the Information Commissioners Office. Maintain and develop the Trusts Information Asset Register with involvement from Information Asset Owners and Information Asset Administrators. Identify and support Trust staff with the completion of the annual Information Governance mandatory training module. Provide assistance with the completion and review of Information Sharing Agreements. Provide assistance with the completion and review of Privacy Impact Assessments. Support the Head of Information Governance with raising Information Governance awareness delivering the Information Governance Assurance Framework. Support the Head of Information Governance with the implementation of Information Governance policies throughout the Trust. Deputise for the Head of Information Governance as appropriate (eg. attend meetings). Participate in team, professional and personal development activities and promote a commitment to continuous development and improvement. Participate in appraisals and personal reviews and work to achieve agreed set objectives. Participate in out of hours cover as required.
