As HR Business Partner for a Global omni-channel communications business, you will provide day to day pro-active support and advice to business managers and employees alike. You will be instrumental in strategic and creative ideas to support the Norwich site in achieving it’s goals and implementation of HR objectives.
Main responsibilities:
· To provide full HR support and guidance to business managers to ensure that best practice in People Management is achieved ensuring the business is legal and ethical in its practices.
· Develop an HR presence in the business and maintain an awareness of employee/management challenges and update stakeholders as appropriate.
· Assist on new business opportunities and renewals
· To be the HR Lead on TUPE transfers and restructuring programmes
· To liaise with HR Shared Services to help enable efficient delivery of HR Administration
· To support the L&D team with the delivery of learning opportunities and training requirements for the site and the broader business.
· Establish and maintain appropriate systems for monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR activity.
· Input and ensure the delivery of any agreed HR projects or initiatives as determined by the HR Director or site SLT.
Skills & Experience:
· At least 3 years HR Business Partner level experience
· Proven TUPE experience in unionised and non-unionised environments
· Strong communication skills in all disciplines including written, oral, email and presentation
· Good working knowledge of Excel specifically the ability to use pivot tables and formulas
· Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and recommend solutions
· A positive attitude to dealing with people
· Strong interpersonal, listening, customer service and organisational skills.
