Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Account Executive to drive sales efforts in the security compliance and IT risk management sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, SOC 2, etc.), third-party risk management, and incident management, along with a proven track record in B2B sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our clients’ success by delivering innovative security solutions that help them manage and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the fields of security compliance, IT risk management, and cybersecurity.
* Develop and manage client relationships with key decision-makers in various industries.
* Present and sell our comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, including third-party risk management, incident management, and security compliance services.
* Advise clients on frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, ISM/IRAP, and DORA, and guide them through implementation strategies.
* Understand client needs, define security compliance challenges, and provide tailored solutions that meet specific business objectives.
* Collaborate with internal teams, including security experts and technical support, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Conduct product demos, webinars, and presentations to engage with prospective clients.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs within a defined sales cycle.
* Stay current on emerging industry trends, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity threats to maintain thought leadership and deliver value to clients.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the cybersecurity or IT risk management sectors.
* Proven expertise in selling security compliance solutions, including frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CMMC, SOC 2, Cyber Essentials, ISM/IRAP, and DORA.
* Strong understanding of IT risk management, third-party risk management, and incident management processes.
* Exceptional ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong negotiation, closing, and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize sales efforts.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field is a plus.
* Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a bonus.
