We are seeking diligent and motivated General Operatives to join our team at our meat production factory. The successful candidates will be responsible for various tasks that ensure the smooth operation of our production and the quality of our products. We have various full time shift patterns available between Monday and Friday Pay starts from £11.60 per hour paid weekly. Select, cut, trim and prepare cuts of meat to the required standard and at designated line speed. Remove bones from pork shoulders, legs, backs and bellies in a manner appropriate to each customer’s individual specification and at designated line speed for each product. Carry out all tasks above whilst achieving Company yield targets. Ensure compliance with all Company Health and Safety Policy requirements for butchery tasks. Meet statutory, customer and Company quality and hygiene regulations at all times. Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with all legal, customer and awarding body requirements e.g. BQAP, Bord Bia, USDA, PRC etc. Ensure the work area is kept clean and sanitised. Clean and maintain all equipment in line with company requirements. Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Butchery Manager. Previous experience of operative work, preferably gained in a production environment is preferential although full training is provided. A high degree of safety consciousness. The ability to work as part of a team. A high level of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
