About the Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for daily operations on a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects. You'll ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard, while keeping your site team supported and engaged. Key responsibilities include: Coordinating all site activity, subcontractors, and site labour Managing site health & safety, including inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate daily records Ensuring all work meets quality standards and technical specifications Managing materials, plant deliveries, and general logistics Addressing site issues and driving performance on the ground Acting as the point of contact for clients, consultants, and inspectors Supporting and mentoring junior staff and team members Who Were Looking For Were seeking an experienced construction or civil engineering professional with strong leadership and site management skills. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, organised, and solutions-focused, with a proactive and team-centred approach.
