JOB SUMMARY
To effectively manage and be responsible for the JW Steakhouse Restaurant daily operations and supervision of staff. Areas of responsibility include Restaurants/Bars and Park Lane Market, if applicable. Assists in the daily supervision restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan.
In line with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, we do require all applicants to have the eligibility to live and work in the United Kingdom. Documentation will be required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Experience/Education:
1. Previous experience working in an F&B Operation at a managerial level
2. Experience of a luxury, five-star operation preferred
3. Good level of English essential
Skills and Knowledge:
4. Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
5. Previous experience as a Restaurant manager in a fast paced, luxury venue
6. Demonstrate a key passion for Food and Beverage
7. Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, quality products and ingredients
8. Ability to grow and develop our existing menu
9. Excellent personal presentation
10. Previous experience managing, developing and motivating a team
11. Personable and people orientated demeanour

Assisting in Management of Restaurant Team

22. Supervises restaurant and all related areas in the absence of the Director of Restaurants or Restaurant Manager.

Conducting Day-to-Day Restaurant Operations
24. Ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms.
25. Communicates to Chef and Restaurant Manager any issues regarding food quality and service levels.
26. Ensures compliance with all restaurant policies, standards and procedures.
27. Monitors alcohol beverage service in compliance with local laws.
28. Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
29. Performs all duties of restaurant employees and related departments as necessary.
30. Opens and closes restaurant shifts.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service
31. Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
32. Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
33. Encourages employees to provide excellent customer service within guidelines.
34. Handles guest problems and complaints, seeking assistance from supervisor as necessary.
35. Strives to improve service performance.
36. Sets a positive example for guest relations.
37. Assists in the review of comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.

Conducting Human Resource Activities
