About the role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join the Digital marketing team operating within a wider marketing team in the UK and international colleagues, based in India.
As a Digital Marketing Executive, you will support the whole Digital Marketing team with the digital acquisition and trading for TTS. In this role, you will be supporting in enhancing our online presence and driving sales through innovative digital marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Planning & Strategy
* Support the Senior Digital Acquisition Manager to execute digital marketing strategies in line with the overall strategy and business goals.
* Closely monitor direct competitors and leading ecommerce brands outside of our sector to provide recommendations to ensure that our search and email marketing strategy and tactics are best-in-class.
Email Channel
* Support the team in creating email marketing campaigns with a focus on customer acquisition, engagement and driving order intake.
* Support all aspects of email marketing production, from campaign ideation and design to execution and analysis.
* Undertake copywriting and visual design responsibilities to create engaging and effective email content that aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with our target audience.
* Keep abreast of the latest email marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company maintains a competitive edge.
* Maintain a clear understanding of our business objectives and customer personas to ensure all email marketing efforts are aligned with business goals.
* Conduct regular competitor analysis to gain insights into their email marketing strategies.
Search and Paid
* Support the definition and execution of our SEO and digital paid advertising strategy to drive traffic, customer acquisition and order intake.
* Support the paid advertising campaign management including budget allocation, bid management, and ad copy creative optimisation with keyword research.
* Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to monitor daily campaign performance.
* Support on delivering detailed reports on campaign performance, including ROAS, conversions, revenue and other KPIs to stakeholders.
* Perform keyword research to optimise content and monitor the performance of keywords to maximise ROI.
* Work closely with the content, product and merchandising teams to ensure that content is optimised for search.
* Identify content gaps and provide content producers and editorial teams with realistic recommendations for implementation based on driving traffic.
* Work with the digital trading team to have an ongoing optimisation programme of all landing pages based on an ongoing testing programme.
* Use tools such as GA4 and Search Console to monitor, analyse, and report on the website’s SEO performance.
* Provide SEO support to other members of the wider digital, marketing and product teams. Collaborate with various departments to align SEO with broader marketing strategies.
Onsite Trading and Merchandising
* Work with the trading/ merchandising team to support and initiate onsite digital campaigns, optimisations and updates.
* Work with the content team in ideation and management of content marketing and competitions designed to increase brand awareness, improve consideration, drive awareness, traffic and conversions.
* Work with creative team on creation of digital acquisition assets to drive engagement and transactional revenue.
* Work closely with RM IT and digital dev team on internal system and integration improvement projects.
* Where applicable, support the international division by owning the email marketing digital acquisition strategy across the relevant channels.
Reporting & Analytics:
* Develop, refine and deliver regular reporting, identifying and influencing the correct metrics.
* Create and distribute reports with insight to monitor and highlight issues suitable for the receiving audience.
Experience
* Experience in digital marketing, preferably within an e-commerce environment.
* Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and email marketing platforms (e.g., Dot Digital, Mailchimp).
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights to inform strategies.
* Comfortable managing content production, whether internally or using external suppliers.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for creating compelling content that drives engagement.
* Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and best practices in online retail marketing.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent understanding of email marketing concepts and metrics such as sender score, deliverability, and sender reputation.
* Strong analytical skills, with a track record of making data-driven decisions and interpreting data.
* Experience with A/B testing and email optimisation for higher conversion rates.
* Exceptional copywriting skills, with an ability to create engaging and persuasive content.
* Creative flair and ability to produce strong creative and visual email elements using online design tools (e.g. Canva) and familiarity with HTML and CSS for email design.
* Proficient in the use of CRM systems, databases and marketing automation tools.
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Self-motivated, ability to use initiative and manage/prioritise their own workload efficiently with a can-do attitude.
* Able to work confidently with colleagues as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects on time, at the right quality and on budget in a fast-paced environment.
