We are looking for a Traffic Manager to join our Infrastructure team in Norwich. As a Traffic Management Manager, you will oversee all aspects of traffic management on the project, ensuring operations comply with UK standards and regulations.
What you'll do:
* Oversee the design and implementation of traffic management plans, ensuring they align with project sequences and deliverables developed by the delivery team.
* Collaborate closely with the selected traffic management supply chain partner to ensure seamless execution and alignment with project objectives.
* Monitor traffic management activities, ensuring compliance with cost, time, and safety standards.
* Enforce adherence to relevant traffic management regulations and best practices, conducting audits and inspections to uphold the highest safety standards.
* Engage with local authorities, emergency services, and other key stakeholders to facilitate effective traffic management and resolve concerns promptly.
What you'll bring to the role:
* Demonstrable experience in traffic management within major infrastructure projects.
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK traffic management regulations and standards, including Chapter 8 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
* Experience collaborating with supply chain partners in traffic management delivery.
* CSCS card.
* Proven ability to develop traffic management plans aligned with project sequences.
