Application Support – Fixed term contract – 9 months Location: Borehamwood Package: Negotiable Benefits As an Application Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing Application Service Desk and Development support. This dynamic position involves offering 1st and 2nd line application support to internal teammates (customers) contributing to existing software functionality, and actively engaging in exciting new solutions currently under development. The day to day: Provide 1st and 2nd line application support for internal teammates, managing support and change requests through the creation, updating, and resolution of tickets. Support and maintain existing software functionality, identifying, analysing, and correcting defects within established service level agreements. Develop software in accordance with published standards and guidelines, including adherence to code standards and user interface design guidelines. Assist in the preparation of systems and user documentation. Contribute to and maintain knowledge management systems. Liaise with software vendor support services to ensure incidents are resolved within agreed Service Levels, escalating when required. Continually update skills by learning new and relevant technologies. About you: Previous experience in a similar Application Service Desk or support role. Proficiency in providing 1st and 2nd line software support. Knowledge of software development practices, including coding standards and user interface design. Experience working with API Tools (e.g. Postman) Solid understanding of SQL or demonstrable experience of working with solutions in SQL Netsuite knowledge Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Experience liaising with software vendor support services. A proactive approach to updating skills and learning new technologies.
