About the Opportunity
Applications are invited for an Assistant Case Manager with our Professional Standards Department.
This role provides a unique opportunity to be part of a new service delivery within the area of Police complaints. The ability to restore public confidence and to make a genuine difference for people expressing dissatisfaction with the Police service is an integral role.
The ideal candidate within the Professional Standards Department will provide investigative assistance for Complaints and Police misconduct. Under the line management of a Detective Sgt- Case manager, the candidate will assist case managers with investigations and report preparation for submission to the appropriate authority. The post holder will be involved in taking of witness statements, serving notices of complaint on officers and writing reports and preparing files for the Independent office for Police conduct (IOPC) or the Crown Prosecution Service.
