Overview
Join our Global Accounting Centre department as a Business Analyst, supporting critical Finance technology projects to support controls, automation and optimisation of process to support business growth. As part of our Finance Operational Improvement team you will work on analysis of key requirements for strategic deliverables.
You will be required to have previous experience working as a Business Analyst, supporting large scale technical projects and be comfortable managing stakeholder relationships and an understanding of controls and risk within a financial services environment.
We offer flexible hybrid working and you will be required to be in our Glasgow office two days a week.
How you'll make an impact
* Lead production of business requirement analysis in respect of Finance technology user requests, including technical, functional and financial. This includes overall process mapping design, architectural diagrams, business rules and any other detailed deliverables.
* Support analysis of 'best tool for the job' reviews and compile recommendations for review.
* Develop strong working relationships with development team and key business stakeholders to support produce viability and insurance over deliverables.
* Coordinate and assist with identification, development and rollout of process improvements and automated solutions to business as usual.
* Proactively support identification of opportunities to leverage existing solutions across wider areas of the business.
* Collaborate with developers to ensure that business requirements are understood and support testing of outputs.
* Assist with acceptance integration and testing and developing project plans.
* Assist with external and internal audits as required.
About you
* Previous experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industries as a Business Analyst.
* Working understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methods.
* Previous understanding of financial service technology and working on projects to transform services.
* Experience of change management and delivery of transformation.
* Excellent MS suite skills, including Visio and DevOps.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships as well being able to talk technically to non-technical colleagues supporting them with ongoing changes and developments in projects.
* Ability to work in the UK.
