The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt our purpose is to “Make it easy for men to dress well” and we can’t do that without our specialist teams.
This time, we’re on the lookout for a Store Manager to work in our brand new store on Trafford Shopping Centre in Manchester, opening November 2024!
What you will be doing
1. Leading, motivating, and coaching the store team to reach and exceed the store’s goals including sales targets, KPIs, and compliance using our training tools.
2. Ensuring CT’s exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
3. Recruiting, nurturing, and retaining the best talent for CT and your store.
4. Promoting the CT culture with your team using our brand values to create a great atmosphere for your team and customers.
5. Identifying sales opportunities and generating corporate activity and new business.
6. Building strong relationships with peers and Head Office departments to handle all matters concerning the store and team, including stock control, payroll/budgeting, layout, promotions, staff development, and employee relations.
7. Making commercial decisions to support the store, particularly for VM where our VM team will support and ensure that the visuals reflect brand identity.
8. Managing the daily running of the store, championing colleague engagement, and complying with company policy procedures, compliance, cost, and security processes.
What we are looking for
1. Previous experience as a Store Manager with a proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire others to establish a high-performing team.
2. Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with customers and stakeholders.
3. Strong planning and organization skills with the ability to maintain a long-term vision.
4. A highly commercial approach with strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills to influence, persuade, and negotiate at varied levels within and outside of the company.
