Learning Support Assistant - Graduate
A fantastic Secondary School in Selly Oak, Birmingham is seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant - Graduate to join their team. This is a full-time and long-term position, starting ASAP. This is the ideal opportunity for Aspiring Secondary Teachers with a passion for education and a desire to work with high-achieving students.
The Head Teacher is keen to speak to graduates with strong academic backgrounds looking to develop further child-based experience; prior class-based experience is highly desirable! This Learning Support Assistant - Graduate position involves working with teaching professionals to assist students in the classroom, as well as in small intervention groups.
You will be responsible for working with students across KS3-5 in an academic capacity, collaborating with experienced Teachers to target areas for improvement. You will implement personalised learning programmes for specific students on a 1:1 basis, lead sessions centred around specific core areas of the curriculum, and support Class Teachers in the classroom.

3. Running intervention groups to target pupil progress
4. Liaising with Class Teachers to accommodate each student accordingly
ROLE DETAILS
1. Long-Term, Full-Time position - ASAP start
2. Monday - Friday role
3. Term-Time only
4. 30am - 4pm
5. £105 - £110 per day!
6. Based in Selly Oak, Birmingham

PERSON SPECIFICATION
