As the Project Practitioner for Metallurgical Services, you will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, taking orders and projects from the point of sale through to delivery to the customer. You will be able to work well within a matrix organisation and have strong stakeholder management skills.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the customer orders and projects from sale through to delivery, ensuring on time delivery, on budget and to the required quality requirements.
* Build customer relationships, maintaining strong communication and effective management of client expectations.
* Build internal relationships with key stakeholders, supporting these stakeholders to ensure their tasks are defined clearly and delivered upon.
* Lead the execution process, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with policies, processes, and legalities.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure necessary technical clarifications or engineering activities are carried out on time and on budget.
* Ensure handovers from Sales to Operational teams mitigate all risks during project execution.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage under pressure.
* Good understanding of metals or heavy engineering industry and the technical and commercial requirements.
* Strong finance and commercial awareness.
* Ability to handle a large volume of tasks with excellent organisational skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must be willing and fit to travel, potentially at short notice, accepting prolonged secondments on sites worldwide.
A current UK driving license is required, as well as the right to live and work in the UK and travel internationally.
