Commercial Manager (Part-Time)
Location: Newbury, UK
Hybrid: 2 days in the office
We are seeking a highly organized and commercially savvy individual to join our team on a part-time basis as a Commercial Manager. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and review commercial contracts, including supply contracts, to ensure alignment with company objectives and to identify potential risks.
* Oversee and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Technical Service Agreements, and Letters of Authority.
* Maintain and organize key files, including notice periods, holidays, and distributor assessments (SAPs).
* Act as a key resource for reviewing legal documentation, though full legal qualifications are not required.
* Support the Customer Service Manager in managing tenders, providing guidance when necessary.
* Collaborate with various teams to ensure smooth business operations, especially in contract management and planning.
Ideal Candidate:
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing commercial contracts.
* Familiarity with legal documentation and processes (paralegal-like experience preferred, though full solicitor qualifications are not necessary).
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in the medical device sector is preferred but not essential.
* Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage a varied workload.
* A proactive attitude toward problem-solving and process improvements.
