The Opportunity
We are currently looking for an Apprentice Business Administrator to work at our Training Organisation in Wakefield. The individual will provide quality support to staff and customers in our organisation.
Role and Duties
The purpose of this position is to provide support to staff and service users in our organisation. The apprentice would be trained to support users in the delivery of our skills development programmes and ensure that all users are attended to effectively.
* Providing a high quality service to our members/customers and to internal colleagues and visitors to our offices;
* To provide general office support for teams including photocopying, post, filing, word processing, and support to the Jobs and Skills team.
* To support job search activities, write CV’s/covering letters and complete initial paperwork with service users, respecting client confidentiality at all times.
* To undertake all other administrative and customer service duties as requested by the line manager and be flexible in travelling to other sites to carry out specific duties as described above.
* Assisting with the organisation of meetings and attending meetings for minute-taking;
* Typing correspondence and assisting with the production of business documents;
* Printing, photocopying, filing, and other general administration;
* Assisting with finance administration, providing reception services, organising travel arrangements, collating spreadsheets/presentations and conducting research e.g. using the Internet;
* Reviewing and distributing incoming post and processing outgoing mail and maintaining office equipment and supplies.
* Assist with the full lifecycle of organising an event - attend all planning meetings and assist the Managers with tasks as directed; work with colleagues to plan events, processing events administration and communication to delegates.
