Working closely with our brilliant Social Impact and Inclusion Manager and wider Talent team you will support with the delivery of our internal and external social value programmes. This primarily includes volunteering and charity fundraising; this is the bread and butter of this role, but you will also have the opportunity to work on broader initiatives such as supporting us to drive our exciting new ED&I agenda you will build exceptional partnerships with local charities and non-profit organisations sourcing volunteering opportunities and mobilising internal requests from colleagues. Heres a taste of what youll be doing as a Social Impact Co-ordinator at Nottingham Building Society: - Support the Social Impact & Inclusion Manager to embed and deliver our Social Impact strategy for the Society. Own the enquiry pipeline for volunteering enquiries from our colleagues and partners to facilitate both community and colleague requests, understanding the needs of the communities we serve. End-to-end volunteer event management including sourcing opportunities, planning volunteer events, advertising events and risk processes. Manage our social impact software, including loading in sourced opportunities, volunteer attendance management, volunteer time capture, feedback collation and monthly reporting. Create effective communications that influence and engage colleagues with our overall social impact including charitable partnerships and volunteering as well as supporting with wellbeing and inclusion campaigns. Manage the community impact budget administration including invoice management & processing of charitable donations. Manage the match funding process, including filing evidence of donations and processing payments. Support the ongoing relationship between NBS and Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, facilitators of the Samuel Fox Foundation. Contribute to our culture of learning and skill development within the team and stay informed about industry trends and best practice standards. You will keep an eye on the external market and introduce interesting concepts and ideas to the Society. About you: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; the ability to develop and sustain good relationships with both internal and external partners. You will be pro-active and organised with the ability to manage and plan your own time to deliver within deadlines and budgets. Passion for having a lasting, purposeful and positive impact on the communities we serve. Strong digital skills, able to maximise platforms, apps and automation to optimise engagement with volunteering and visibility of data and insights. Transferable experience within a CSR or similar social impact focused role.
