Business Support Officer - Integrated Children’s Services
Role Responsibility
We have an exciting vacancy for a Business Support Officer (BSO) within Integrated Children’s Services – Safeguarding, Quality Assurance & Practice Standards Unit, working alongside the Child Protection Conference team. The role will require a great deal of organisational skill, excellent communication skills (both phone and email), as well as a methodical approach and great attention to detail.
We are looking for someone with administrative experience who is confident dealing with a variety of responsibilities and using a range of IT packages. In particular, you will be responsible for handling sensitive information and recording data as well as liaising with a range of professionals.
You must be able to proactively manage your workload and support the wider team while responding to urgent requests and deadlines. There will be occasions where you may be required to provide cover for various tasks throughout the Business Support team.
The role is varied and interesting, and you will be joining an experienced team who work closely together to provide excellent support for their social work colleagues.
We are available for colleagues and families from 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We can offer opportunities for personal training and development within the service, as well as equipment to enable you to work flexibly from both home and office. There may be some travel required between Maidstone, Kings Hill and Whitstable offices, but this will be minimal.
You will have the support of your colleagues, a team of nine experienced BSO’s, and a supervisor who will provide you with regular supervision and the training that you need for the role.
