Maintenance Technician
Location: Yeovil
Salary: £36,000 + 18% Shift Allowance (£42,480) + Overtime Opportunities + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + Benefits
Shift Pattern: Earlies & Late Shift. No Night Work. Earlier Finish on Friday. Every second Friday OFF!
ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OR MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL OR MANUFACTURING BACKGROUND?
The role would suit maintenance technicians or maintenance engineers from ANY manufacturing or industrial background. Applicants can have either an electrical or mechanical bias. Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained. If you have experience working within or servicing/maintaining CNC machinery, you will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for reactive maintenance and pre-planned maintenance on a wide range of production, process and manufacturing machinery. You will work for a world-renowned manufacturer with over 1400 assets on site, which will give you variation within your role. As part of your role, you will be responsible for updating CMMS, ordering parts/spares as well as contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and projects on site.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Reactive Maintenance - Maintaining and repairing machinery on site
2. Pre-planned maintenance. Updating CMMS
3. Ordering parts, spares and stock control
4. A varied role working on a wide range of machinery within a well-renowned manufacturer
5. Monday to Friday. No Weekend Work Required.
Week 1: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30. 13:00 Finish on a Friday.
Week 2: Monday to Thursday 15:30 to 00:00. Friday Off on a Late Shift.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Can transfer from ANY industrial, engineering or manufacturing environment
2. Can be electrically or mechanically biased
3. Technicians/Engineers will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent
4. Candidates with experience working on or within a CNC machinery environment will have a considerable advantage and are encouraged to apply
