Responsibilities
1. Carry out production duties in line with requests from Shift Management assisting in achieving high quality, low cost manufacture, meeting service levels to satisfy customer’s requirements.
2. Assist the business to maintain a safe working environment and protect all associates and guests.
3. Ensure products manufactured are safe, legal, and comply with customers' quality standards.
4. Work in a safe manner to comply with statutory health and safety legislation and company policies.
5. Operate and adhere to all key processes and procedures including CCPs, production activities, and administration to ensure food safety standards are met.
6. Adhere to company quality system, ensuring product manufactured is to the correct specification.
7. Ensure all production requirements are met and that line outputs are maximised at every opportunity to deliver plan attainment and efficiency targets.
8. Ensure minimum wastage of materials at all times through effective working practices on the line.
9. Ensure line cleaning is efficiently and effectively carried out, that meets food safety standards and minimises lost time.
10. Ensure customer audit standards are adhered to and a clean and tidy workplace is maintained.
11. Complete all administration to meet legal requirements and maintain relevant systems, including Traceability, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, ERP, etc.
12. Communicate and escalate issues to Shift management in a timely manner.
13. Work as a member of the production team, ensuring efficient line operations and maintaining team morale.
14. Be proactive in your self-development and look for opportunities to progress when they arise.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Critical:
1. Ability to follow procedures.
2. A level of manual dexterity.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
4. Experience of working within a high performing team environment.
5. Ability to communicate and understand clearly both orally and in writing in English to ensure that all health and safety procedures are understood and can be easily followed.
Desirable:
1. Food Manufacturing / FMCG Experience.
2. Working in a Safety Critical Environment.
