We are looking for an Admin Manager to manage the administrative function at our Chesterfield depot, to support the Warehouse and Transport functions. The Admin Manager oversees site and customer systems, driving KPIs through platforms such as JDA and other site systems. They are responsible for managing the POD function across the TCL network, ensuring KPI adherence among sites and key stakeholders. Additionally, they handle Chesterfield claims, conducting root cause investigations and mitigating liability where feasible. What’s in it for you? Providing KPI’s to challenge performance and support the operation where necessary Propose innovative ideas and suggestions for improvement – listening to the suggestions and opinions of those around you to gain as much information as possible to enhance the service we provide to our customers Assist in the preparation of the departmental budget, and then work within these parameters to assist in overall achievement of targets Ensure relevant communication with all areas of the operation and your teams, to ensure that important messages and information are relayed effectively This role requires a flexible approach both to hours and duties and will involve extensive working within a chill & ambient warehouse environment Who you are: A motivational, forward thinking and adaptable style of management – Consistently investing in your team to ensure that they are given every opportunity to succeed and develop Generates flexible and workable solutions using appropriate resources An open minded approach to management – Encouraging the views of others, and investing in them – giving the team’s themselves the opportunity to implement positive change Strong IT systems background demonstrated by prior use of Warehouse Management systems and ideally Spotfire and Document Logistics Exerts influence that promotes commitment and action Remains calm and self-controlled when faced with opposition or hostility An understanding of Trade unions and how best to resolve an issues which may arise The desire to fully embrace being part of a wider team – happy to lend a hand to others where needed Builds rapport leading to trust and strong relationships at all levels Good understanding of HR processes and procedures in relation to team management and employee relation issues Why Gist?
