Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Preston
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Bamber Bridge, Preston. The successful candidate will have experience in industrial, production or process engineering.
The salary for this role is £44,600, rising to £46,000 in January 2025. This is a permanent position working on a 4 on 4 off days and nights rotation, with an 18-day break every 7 cycles.

Job Summary:
A reputable organisation in Bamber Bridge is seeking a skilled & experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on shift due to a huge workload increase and an ongoing plant expansion project.
The electrical maintenance engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant & facility assets and associated infrastructure.
The following are typical duties and responsibilities for this role:
* Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance on fast-paced industrial machinery.
* Repairing electrical breakdowns.
* Fault-finding using Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
* Participating in continuous improvement projects, installations, etc.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Recognised apprenticeship in a relevant discipline, such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
* Experience of working within a continuous process or production facility.
* Knowledge of working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software applications.
* Detailed knowledge of preventative, predictive, and lifecycle maintenance activities.
* Understanding of PLC systems.
