The Integration Joint Board has been delivering services across the islands using innovative approaches supported by the integration agenda in a remote and rural setting. The Partnership want to build on their values-based reputation of working closely with people who use services, their Carers, communities, and partners in other sectors, and to develop services that are sustainable and fit for the future for Orkney. The total population is approximately 22,000 with most people living on the Mainland. The excellent ferry and air connections make travel to the Scottish mainland relatively easy.
