Facilities Caretaker

£25,767 per annum + 35 Days Holiday
Mon - Friday 40 Hours (Flexible working)
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Caretaker to join our client in Wrexham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of our facilities. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities for Facilities Caretaker:
Perform routine cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the premises, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
Conduct basic maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacements, minor repairs, and furniture assembly.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and address any issues that arise.
Carry out security checks and ensure that all doors and windows are securely locked.
Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events or meetings.
Report any maintenance or security concerns to the Facilities Manager.
Requirements for the role:
Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects.
