Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their busy Private Client department. This diverse and fast-paced role involves handling a broad range of private client matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in, or be comfortable managing, the following areas of law:
* Estate and Care Fees Planning
* Wills and Will Writing
* Lasting Powers of Attorney
* Court of Protection
* Trusts and Trust Administration
* Probate and Estate Administration
* Inheritance Tax Planning and Investments
* Charitable Trusts
* Deputyship
While STEP qualification is desirable, it is not essential. Our client supports continuous career development and will consider candidates currently pursuing STEP qualifications.
Requirements
* Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, focusing primarily on wills, trusts, estates, and related tax matters
* Deliver exceptional client service with a professional and approachable manner
* Prioritise tasks effectively, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of legal expertise
* Provide clear, concise advice to clients, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
* Work as part of a collaborative team with administrative and secretarial support
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong and consistent knowledge of private client law, particularly in the areas of wills, trusts, estates, and tax
* Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
* Demonstrated technical competence and attention to detail
* Outstanding client communication and a professional appearance
