About the Role
As a key member of the Talent Team, you will work closely with business leaders to deliver strategic priorities as set out by the Head of Talent, whilst partnering with key members of the People Function during a period of cultural change. You will implement and facilitate critical talent management programs, practices, and plans which inform and deliver against the talent strategy. You will support in the design and embedding of strategic workforce planning for talent, career pathways, and focus on identifying, retaining, and developing talent and skills at all levels.
This role will provide best practice thinking as a strategic partner and advisor to the Head of Talent to ensure talent management initiatives are aligned to the delivery of our strategic ambition. With the ability to operate within the grey, challenge conventional practices, think big, facilitate and implement end-to-end talent processes.
Influencing and working closely with the overall talent team and strategic People Partners to evaluate and support the needs of the business and create tools and resources to increase leadership, team and individual effectiveness in collaboration with the L&D team. In addition, working closely with our L&D Partner and Digital Learning Manager to ensure enterprise programmes and initiatives continue to be aligned to talent management needs.
About You
As a Strategic Talent Management Partner, you will have previously partnered with senior leaders to deliver business objectives. You will have experience within HR, with a specialization in talent management; specifically strategic workforce planning and talent and succession/development with the natural ability to build relationships, communicate, influence, and constructively challenge with credibility at all levels.
It is expected that you will have proven experience of stakeholder management and being a key influencer as well as being a confident and experienced facilitator.
Your track record will demonstrate a strong knowledge of design and delivery of high impact workforce performance and talent management initiatives with the ability to operate independently with agility, whilst having strong influencing skills is crucial.
You will have previously built and maintained impactful partnerships with external vendors, to design and deliver talent solutions that meet business needs, whilst continuing to horizon scan to provide thought leadership within this area of specialization.
