Introduction DB Cargo UK is currently recruiting for an Administrator to join our ETCS department based at our largest operational site at Toton. You will be working on our ETCS Fleet Fitment Project and ensuring the completion of work orders, identifying and ordering parts and controlling stock levels along with all administrative general queries. The European Train Control System (ETCS) and aims to greatly enhance safety, control speed limits of a train by communicating with the driver, increase the efficiency of train transport and seeks to bring in the digitalisation of the cab-signalling system. It will also improve costs and benefits to cumbers with a greater reduction in carbon footprints by reducing requirements for road travel. In working on this project you will be responsible for assisting with all administrative requirements. This role offers hybrid working between personal residence and our site at Toton. All applications are welcome for both full time and part time with potential flexible working options available with a pro rate salary and holidays. The salary for this position is £30,000.00 per annum depending on experience. What will you be doing? You will be responsible for tracking all the parts received for the ETCS project and ensuring this is up to date. Liaising with third party suppliers for material requests when required. Updating spreadsheets with data as required by the customer. You will also be inputting all working hours of DB staff working on the ETCS project into the DB systems to ensure an up to date record is kept. You will be responsible for chasing up any queries from fitters and management and helping with completing administrative tasks. Liaising with customers via telephone and email and helping answering all queries and providing excellent customer service. Ensuring all maintenance information is updated and organised as required by third parties. You will be liaising with customers on a daily basis to ensure they are kept up to date of any issues. Ensuring all invoicing is maintained and up to date. Who are we looking for? You will have a good understanding of Microsoft programmes including Excel to an intermediate level. You will be able to show excellent attention to detail, not just in your own work but also the rest of the teams to ensure quality is constant.
