An opportunity has arisen for a Product Marketing Manager to join the Elysia department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment. Elysia are looking for a Product Marketing Manager with a strong execution bias to drive overall marketing strategy for the entire Elysia business. In this role you will craft the messaging and positioning for Elysia’s current and future products as well as getting deep into the weeds, developing exceptional marketing copy and assets for Elysia campaigns.
This role is the perfect opportunity for an experienced product marketer looking to take true ownership of marketing across an entire product suite. You’ll be embedded within the product team reporting directly to the Head of Product and working closely with a team of leading battery scientists to help us realise our mission of unlocking the true potential of every battery on the planet.
Elysia is principally involved in the development and commercialisation of the Battery Intelligence software, which is revolutionizing the life, safety and performance of battery systems. As a pioneering technology company, we specialize in the development of cutting-edge software solutions that supports, optimises and de-risks the deployment of batteries, from cradle to grave, starting with design and manufacture, through to first-life monitoring and the transition to second-life or recycling.
Our team of brilliant minds and passionate experts is dedicated to pushing the boundaries in software-derived performance, both within embedded BMS and cloud-based domains. Job role:
* Own the positioning and messaging of Elysia’s suite of current and future products
* Work closely with the Product and Sales team to build a marketing strategy that drives awareness of the value of Battery Intelligence across our key markets (automotive and energy storage)
* Own campaign planning and execution for Elysia’s products, including copy and asset generation (alongside the design team) for press releases, conferences, blog posts, thought-leadership content, presentations and webinars etc
* Serve as a strategic partner to our sales team, feeding back customer insights, generating critical sales material, and executing targeted account-based campaigns.
* Drive product discovery and market assessment activities within Elysia in collaboration with the commercial team, ensuring that rigorous customer discovery at Elysia is a necessity with actionable outcomes. Defining key audiences, sizing through quantitative analysis and testing value propositions using qualitative feedback from customer and expert interviews.
* Disseminate high-level market and customer insights to the wider team. At Elysia we believe that everyone is on the product team and has valuable insights to offer, our whole team has the right to hold the product team to account for the strategic choices we present.
* Liaise closely with the wider Fortescue Marketing, Communications and Product Marketing teams to represent the value of Elysia products within Fortescue Zero’s other products.
You’ll have:
* Significant product marketing experience with a strong preference for people that have worked in B2B settings. Will consider prior experience within a Product Management or Marketing role.
* Direct experience owning marketing initiatives from ideation to execution
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to provide previous examples of translating highly technical content into clear value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences
* Strong executive presence with prior experience reporting directly to executive/C-level.
* Customer and delivery obsessed.
* Nice to have: Technical background and/or prior experience within the automotive, energy or battery markets.
