Role: RTT Supervisor
Location: 43 Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1HU
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,640 - £31,243 (Dependant on experience)

About you:
You will perform day-to-day running of the RTT team within the Informatics Department, leading the effective collection, recording and submission of RTT information across our Hospitals. You will be a key source of RTT expertise and be responsible for undertaking regular audits to prevent common error types and improve accuracy standards. You will regularly investigate complex pathway waits, and work with colleagues to ensure access to services in line with NHS targets.

Responsibilities of our Referrals to treatment supervisor:
* Responsible for the production, quality and submission of SpaMedica’s Referral to Treatment (RTT) data sets alongside the NHS timeframe
* To develop and maintain an in depth knowledge of RTT rules and definitions. To act as a source of expertise and provide advice and guidance to managers and colleagues within SpaMedica.
* To manage and organise the workload of the RTT Team, to ensure that key validation errors have been completed prior to submission.
* By means of regular audits, identify patterns of errors or new types of error, and develop strategies to improve RTT data quality.
* Audit patients with a potential to breach, and liaise with clinicians, nurses and managerial staff to ensure patients are seen within an 18 Week timeframe where possible.
* Work with clinicians to ensure that no patient must breach 52 weeks.
* To provide feedback, training and guidance to all RTT team members.
* By means of regular audits, ensure that all RTT Team members are correctly following RTT guidance as part of their validation work.
* Develop reports and dashboards to provide a graphical representation of RTT Performance across our Hospitals.
