We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join our Divisional team at our Head Office in Lutterworth.
As a key member of the Divisional Finance team, you will ensure accurate and timely review and reporting of all deliverables to Loxam Group for the Division and contribute to Internal Audit assignments improving the control environment of the Division.
In return you will receive a salary £35,000 - £45,000 DOE, 25 days annual holiday plus bank holidays, Auto Enrolment Pension scheme, BUPA Medical Care, Life Assurance and Lifestyle Benefits - Discounts on selected high street stores.
Responsibilities include:
* Ownership and review of all reporting deliverables for the Division (UK, Middle East and Head Office accounts) to Loxam Group timetable
* Review of P&L variances and BU commentary to explain business performance
* Monthly Head Office accounts, including monthly recharges
* Monthly and Quarterly KPI reporting, understanding reasons for key movements and deviations from targets
* Intercompany reconciliations and loan documentation
* Preparation of the monthly Divisional CFO report, including insightful commentary on the business performance and other relevant topics each month
* Controlling the Budget and Forecast process for the Division, ensuring quality of submissions and version control.
* Calculation of Head Office recharges
* Support with monthly treasury reporting, including Head Office cashflow forecast and corporate credit card compliance
* Support with Company Secretarial responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* Strong Excel Skills
* Post qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Part qualified would also be considered.
* Accountancy practice or internal audit experience would be beneficial
* Experience in IFRS accounting standards and working in a multi-currency business would be beneficial
* Methodical in approach, and able to work under pressure and take ownership to meet deadlines
* Good Communication skills and able to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
* Professional individual, keen to learn new skills and drive improvements in processes and reporting
