Description

Must be able to work independently in a community setting.
Must be able to drive.
Must be physically fit as this is an active role which requires assisting patient to transfer and mobilise.
Carrying out Urgent Therapy visits from the Acute hospitals, Rapid Response, GP’s and other services within the Urgent Care Services.
Able to carry out basic observation when assessing deteriorating patients.
Joint working with other therapists and rehab assistants.
Must be able to apply a compassionate and empathetic approach to patients.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Competent in Moving and Handling
Experience of using EMIS desirable
Experience of working in the community
Experience of managing a caseload
Experience of rehab
Experience of Falls patients.
Up to date with mandatory training including resus.
Must have access to their own car and be able to use this for work purposes.
Must have a covid risk assessment completed prior to commencing this post.
PPE must be worn in accordance with BHC and government Guidelines
Monday to Friday, full or part time
Requirements:
- HCPC registration
- 6 months NHS experience minimum
- Right to Work in the UK
