FinTech RS have an exciting opportunity available for a Supply Chain Manager with our client based in Aberdeen on a Permanent, Full Time basis, with Hybrid working available.
With responsibility for overseeing the full Procurement & Supply Chain function across the UK, this is a key senior position where the successful candidate will be tasked with creating value for the organisation through implementing efficiency enhancing processes, reducing costs, improving cashflow, and fostering stakeholder engagement.
Main duties include:
* Oversee all aspects of UK Procurement and Supply Chain activities, including strategic sourcing, contract management, and logistics.
* Direct line management of senior purchasing staff across 4 locations around the UK
* Implement strong 3rd party contractor and vendor management strategies, with a key focus on business delivery
* Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and strategic supply partners in order to assess supply chain risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
* Collaborate with Regional Procurement to develop innovative technologies and processes, ensuring security of supply while maintaining optimal value
Suitable candidates should have the following:
* A degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent (Essential)
* NEVI/CIPS or other relevant SCM or Procurement certificates (Desirable)
* Experience in a senior management role in Procurement / Supply Chain (Essential)
* Experience within industrial businesses with a global footprint (Desirable)
* Strong communication skills.
* Results orientated.
* A change agent, driven to change the status quo and inspiring the team to change.
* Client focussed with a strong ability to solve problems as they arise.
Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen, and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
