We have a unique opportunity for an HR Advisor to join Suffolk GP Federation supporting Unity Healthcare GP Practice.
This exciting opening has come about following a review of the Practice’s management structure after the successful launch of the Unity Healthcare Hub.
Unity’s new Hub model is a transformative approach designed to enhance patient care and staff well-being. It allows us to address the limitations of physical clinical space by providing dedicated clinical office space where patient contact is managed remotely through triage and consultations. Face-to-face appointments continue at our three existing sites (Haverhill, Long Melford, Lavenham).
Our attention is on developing our workforce model to support our growing organisation. Our clinical staff have a ‘portfolio role’, rotating between ‘Speed Triager’, ‘Hub Remote Consultor’, ‘Face-to-face clinician’ and ‘GP Site Lead’.
We are also making a significant investment in a new, larger management structure in order to meet Unity’s 2028 vision which includes:
* Embedded in our local community especially INTs with close partnership with WSFT.
* An enlarged senior leadership team drawn from across all clinical groups and managers.
* A ‘reimagined’ working environment and workflow which addresses current challenges and is attractive to work in.
* The most advanced user of technology in Suffolk general practice.
* A practice where individuals come to work, learn and then move on to share Unity’s vision.
What is the role?
* You will be part of the Federation’s central HR team with a focus on Unity Healthcare; you will provide day-to-day HR support to Unity, being the first point of contact for line managers and employees.
* You will coach and guide line managers with the full HR life cycle, embedding the Federation culture and approach whilst providing up to date accurate HR advice.
* You will manage and ensure the ongoing use of the Practice’s HR and Compliance System (TeamNet).
Unity Healthcare is run by Suffolk GP Federation. We are a not-for-profit, community interest company and our main purpose is to support Primary Care across Suffolk, including support with working collaboratively and at scale. We also deliver a portfolio of NHS services across Suffolk and North East Essex, including Podiatry, Ultrasound, Diabetes, as well as Urgent Care Services including the Out of Hours face-to-face Service in Suffolk.
Is it for me?
* To succeed in this role you will be CIPD qualified to at least Level 3.
* You will have experience and competence of working in a generalist HR environment including employee relations.
* You will have good problem solving skills and will be able to communicate effectively and sensitively with a wide range of people.
