As part of our continued success and growth journey, we are looking to expand our sales organisation to recruit a Head of Commercial. For an ambitious, self-motivated, and highly driven individual this is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is not only established (with a highly credible product, Gartner recognition and strong customer references) but also still early in its growth cycle. This role will be able to directly influence the long-term commercial strategy and success of the organisation.
What will you be doing?
The Head of Commercial will report to Systal’s Chief Revenue Officer, supporting the Board in driving Systal’s growth strategy, ensuring strong commercial governance, providing an interlock between our sales and service delivery functions, shaping customer propositions, and engaging with key sales and supplier partners with a focus on the following:
1. Commercial strategy: develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, focussed on accelerating expansion.
2. Pricing strategy: play an active role in defining Systal’s pricing strategy, ensuring all contracts adhere to Systal’s growth objectives.
3. Commercial governance: ensure strong commercial governance across Systal’s sales channels and contracts, defining and deploying relevant process and controls.
4. Financial Management: support the organisation in achieving commercial success across key accounts.
5. Key partner relationships: build and maintain strong relationships with Systal’s key sales partner relationships, identifying and supporting new opportunities to expand market presence and revenue.
Who are we looking for?
1. Proven experience in senior commercial roles, including business development, sales, marketing, and partnerships, preferably in services-based organisations.
2. In-depth understanding of commercial processes, including sales, marketing, and product strategy.
3. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience managing C-suite relationships.
4. Strong financial acumen and experience managing commercial budgets and forecasts.
5. Data-driven, with the ability to leverage analytics to make informed decisions.
