Our client is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance & Integrity Team Leader, based in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
1. Leads the asset maintenance & integrity team in delivering against all HSE targets and demonstrates commitment to incident free operations.
2. Accountable for the delivery of offshore maintenance activities to protect the health, safety and welfare of the people on the client operated assets.
3. Responsible for maintaining and ensuring compliance with life of field maintenance & integrity strategies for the assets.
4. Responsible for major accident hazard management, in particular the prevention, detection, control, mitigation and response to major accidents. This shall include leadership support for operational risk assessments, assurance work order deferrals, HAZOP's, HAZID's, RCA and incident investigations.
5. Responsible for the rigorous application of applicable engineering codes, standards, practices and design guides for integrity activities.
6. Responsible for the management of anomalies, Ros, temporary repairs and risk registers.
7. Accountable for the delivery of work programs, that they are correctly prioritised & resourced (manpower and equipment) and that they meet asset safety critical and business objectives.
8. Responsible for the client's strategies, management of the integrated service contractor and for the effective use of the maintenance management system (Maximo), to demonstrate compliance with asset verification scheme, maintenance of all safety and business critical equipment, management of backlog key performance indicators (KPI's) and an audit trail for the regulatory authorities.
9. Responsible for SECE maintenance delivery and Performance Standard compliance based on the assurance routine deliverables.
10. Monitor, review and drive performance improvement of maintenance & integrity management systems, processes and practices.
11. Ensures all maintenance documentation to be sufficient and current within the business management system, for example Performance Standards and PMRs are current for offshore use.
12. Supervise the marine team to ensure Class & Verification actions are being managed effectively.
13. Responsible for developing & management of maintenance & integrity budget.
14. Responsible for the effective inspection, certification & management of PSVs, FHAs, SBT, Ex. maintenance.
15. Responsible for team input into 28-day, 8Q and 5 yearly plans and ensuring planning process and gate criteria are complied with.
16. Manage maintenance & integrity team KPI targets and drive SMART actions to meet these targets.
17. QPR management for tier 1 and key contractors.
18. Provide input into equipment root cause analysis and loss reporting.
19. Support incident investigation.
Key knowledge and experience
1. Significant experience in an operator organisation with duty holder and operated assets.
2. Major accident hazard management and knowledge of key safety legislation and regulations.
3. Technical knowledge with operating, integrity and maintenance experience on process and marine plant.
4. Experience of maintenance planning, organizing, coordinating and control/monitoring work across a range of disciplines.
5. Significant knowledge of maintenance management systems.
6. Risk management processes and root cause failure analysis.
7. Action orientated & results driven.
8. Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present complex technical issues in a clear & concise manner.
9. Current ability to travel offshore.
Education
1. Degree educated.
2. A chartered or professional engineer registered with a recognised body i.e. Engineering Council UK accredited institutes.
