Interim Financial Controller
Location: Bridgewater Area
Pay Rate: 200 - 315 per day
Start Date: ASAP - Full Time
Contract Type: Temporary (through to June 2025)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid (on-site and remote)
About the Role:
Hays are seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to join a dynamic manufacturing company based in the Bridgewater area of Somerset. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and stability of their operations during a period of transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to the management team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
* Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
* Provide strategic financial advice to senior management
* Supervise and support the finance team
* Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement
* Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
