This clinical role within our Community Inpatient Wards is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Band 5 OT ready to progress or for a Band 6 seeking a fresh challenge. You'll be a key member of our friendly and supportive Occupational Therapy team at West Berkshire Community Hospital, working within the inpatient therapy multidisciplinary team. Based on Donnington and Highclere wards, you'll help adult patients recover from surgery or acute medical conditions as they prepare to return home. Your role will include delivering goal-oriented therapy to promote independence in activities of daily living, supporting effective discharge planning, and conducting functional assessments, including home visits and equipment fitting. You'll ideally be a driver with a vehicle, as you'll need the ability to effectively make regular off-site visits in the community. We provide professional growth and a supportive environment. This role offers a broad range of inpatient therapy experience, collaboration with the MDT, and potential learning opportunities working alongside our Neurological Rehabilitation team.
