Job Description
We are looking for a Handover Coordinator to join our project in the South West where we are a delivery partner on a key infrastructure project. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in one of the most complex and challenging projects in the UK today, where you will be responsible for the coordination of all documentation relating to the handover of the constructed assets from construction to commissioning, and subsequently to the Client. The Handover Coordinator is an integral member of the project team and is responsible for organising and controlling handover documentation on behalf of the Project Manager. You will work closely with the document control team and provide support with document control processes during periods of high document traffic.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the focal point for handover related queries (with support from the wider QA team).
* Track the status of Lifetime Quality Record (LTQR) packs through the review and acceptance process.
* Monitor the completion of comment sheets close out of comments.
* Carry out first review of LTQR packs.
* Deal with enquiries efficiently and effectively.
* Where appropriate promote and provide training to operational teams and suppliers in the use of the LTQR, electronic document management system (SharePoint and Autodesk Vault) and handover process.
* Uploading and management of documents in line with standards.
Qualifications
* Highly organised with an attention to detail.
* Ability to plan and prioritise own workload.
* Able to work effectively to deadlines.
* Ability to communicate effectively with peers and other disciplines in both verbal and written.
* Good interpersonal skills and team worker.
* Either be a current holder of Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) or have the ability and be willing to obtain security clearance required for role.
Desirable
* Experience in the quality requirements of a nuclear construction project.
* Several years’ experience in a similar role in a construction or related industry.
* Experience of working within an ISO9001 accredited (or equivalent) Quality Management System.
* Proven experience in handover coordination/document control function.
* Several years’ experience in a similar role in construction or related industry.
