YOUR ROLE
Are you a university student looking for an exciting year 3 industry placement? Our Contract Review team in Ashby de la Zouch has a fantastic opportunity just for you! We're on the hunt for a hardworking, meticulous individual to join our small team and help us with contract review analysis for both new and existing customers.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As a key player in our team, you'll report to the Contract Review Manager and dive into a variety of customer contracts. You will work on rapidly assessing customer contracts and operations tasks using a defined methodical approach. You will identify gaps or discrepancies between the services we provide and what we've contractually agreed to. Through data analysis, you'll uncover opportunities to boost contract profitability, compare pricing and rates to spot revenue leakages, and ensure a solid return on investment for the business.
You'll collaborate with a diverse range of local and regional colleagues, working together to enhance supplier partnerships, improve customer experiences and foster team cooperation. This means you'll need to be a confident communicator who can build strong working relationships.
You'll also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our sites. This involves identifying and promoting enhancements, providing recommendations for re-engineering and improving existing operational solutions, all whilst fostering a culture of vigilance and responsible logistics.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone who can read, analyse and digest large amounts of information and data to produce meaningful solutions and recommendations. You should be analytically minded with exceptional attention to detail, strong grammatical and linguistic skills, and a love for numbers and data. You'll need strong skills in Microsoft Packages, with a specific confidence in Excel, particularly with pivot tables, formulas and macros.
You'll also need to travel to sites across the UK and sometimes within European/Global teams, so it's essential that you hold a driving license with your own car and are happy to travel internationally for business trips.
It would be a bonus if you have LEAN or Six Sigma training and are knowledgeable about continuous improvement techniques.
Does this sound like the perfect opportunity for you? Apply now and take the first step towards an exciting and rewarding placement year with us!
WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
With a genuine culture of reward and recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
