Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Southend
Role Type: Permanent, fulltime
As a Material Handler at Honeywell, in Southend, you will utilise your logistics expertise and be part of handling a variety of logistics issues in a manufacturing environment, assist in the daily operations to ensure critical parts availability, material handling and team availability at all times. You will follow standard work and operating procedures to ensure those duties are fulfilled and goals are met.

Key responsibilities:
1. Comply with all relevant Health, safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements.
2. Work to relevant processes and procedures.
3. Carry out activities in line with Company procedures and process standard work.
4. Identify improvements.
5. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment.
6. May be expected to work another shift pattern.
7. Participate in Tier/Team meetings.
8. Participate in preventing/correcting/reporting unsafe conditions or hazards, review and update risk assessment.
9. Participate in PI checking, COGI management and inventory management.
Key skills and qualifications:
1. Fully conversant with all aspects of the material handling process.
2. Must be proactive towards improvement ideas/programs.
3. Must be familiar with all associated quality standards.
4. Must be willing to adapt to new working practices and techniques.
5. Good communicator at all levels.
