About Our Client
Our client is a medium-sized organisation in Birmingham, operating in the life science industry. They are known for their innovative approach to product development and their strong commitment to improving lives through their products.
Job Description
* Management of the product lifecycle from product launch to discontinuation
* Collect and analyse feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products
* Required to attend and support set up and delivery of all UK marketing events including: One off trade and end user exhibitions, one off product launch events & annual NHS Product Awareness Days running from October to January
* Work with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
* Lead product managers and coordinate cross-functional teams
* Produce and review product requirements documents
* Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
* Make creative recommendations to expand product base and vision
* Suggest ways to track product use and impact on end users
The Successful Applicant
A successful Product Manager should have:
* A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
* Experience in product lifecycle management
* Familiarity with market research, consumers' behaviour and marketing techniques
* A creative mind paired with a technology-savvy outlook
* Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
* Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams
