PR Account Manager (full-time)
Full-time, permanent, remote working, UK-based.
We are looking for a talented Account Manager to join our award-winning PR team and are keen to hear from anyone who thinks the role working in the housing sector might be for them.

You don’t need to come with bags of housing sector expertise, but we are looking for creativity, determination and top-drawer organisational skills. The Account Manager role will suit someone with a PR background – either agency or in-house – who is a self-starter and wants to do a job with purpose that makes a positive difference to people’s lives.
Salary – Account Manager: £33,000-£37,000 (based on experience), new business bonus, up to 5% annual bonus linked to company performance, company pension contributions.
Work location: Our flexible culture is focused on what’s best for each member of our team. We offer the option of remote-based working from home; hybrid-working from home and a nearby co-working space is also available. Our current co-working locations are: Leeds and Shrewsbury, but we are very happy to consider other locations as needed. Many of our team are based in the Midlands and so we have regular team get togethers in Birmingham and elsewhere.
What we need
* At least two years’ PR experience – ideally on B2B delivering measurable results
* Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Confidence to ask questions and challenge where necessary
* Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, journalists and other stakeholders
* Strategic and creative thinking to identify the best ways to meet client objectives
* Strong copywriting skills for blogs, social media, press releases, etc
* Social media management and impactful content creation experience
* Sound experience of working with journalists to secure coverage and identifying suitable (as well as new) opportunities for clients
* Open to always learning new skills and keeping up to date with sector news – no day is ever the same in housing!

* Varied projects using a wide range of comms techniques, including media relations, corporate communications, crisis and reputation management, stakeholder relationship management, customer communications, social media strategy and planning, copywriting, branding projects, project managing podcasting, photography and video, as well as some marketing and public affairs work
