But depending on performance, this could be extended Pay Rate: £16 phr Key Responsibilities: Menu Planning: Develop and design nutritious, varied, and cost-effective menus suitable for a diverse workforce. Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring all food is cooked to the highest standards. Supervision: Lead and manage your section of kitchen, ensuring efficient operation of the kitchen and adherence to schedules. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards. Inventory Management: Manage stock levels, place orders, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and supplies. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume catering environment. Qualifications: Must hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Skills: Excellent culinary skills, strong leadership abilities, and effective time management. Ideal Candidate: Demonstrates a strong commitment to health and safety standards. Exhibits excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
