We are working with an established wealth management firm based in Gloucester, who is seeking a Head of Administration to join their growing team. You will be managing a small team of Administrators with the aim of growing this team over the coming months. The right individual will possess excellent interpersonal skills and have a thorough understanding of Financial Planning administration.
Responsibilities and Experience:
1. Previous IFA Administration experience is a must, ideally in a management position but not essential.
2. Possess a client-centric approach and apply this to all situations.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills to bring the best out of the team and deliver for clients.
4. Good knowledge of back office administration software and applications.
5. Experience in training, mentorship, and management of colleagues.
6. Competent at workflow allocation and diary management ensuring administration tasks are completed and deadlines are adhered to.
7. Conduct appraisals and manage HR requirements for team members.
8. General office oversight and management.
9. Assist in the recruitment of new team members to support the growth of the administration team.
