CMA Recruitment is working with a reputable business based in central Southampton, Hampshire, to help them recruit a Purchase Ledger on a full time, permanent basis. This role has come about due to an internal promotion within the finance team which now needs to be backfilled.
What will the Purchase Ledger role involve:
1. Purchase ledger invoicing - ensuring the correct authorisation procedure has been followed
2. Coding and posting invoices
3. Preparing payment runs
4. Processing staff expenses
5. Supplier statement reconciliations and payment queries
Suitable candidate for the Purchase Ledger role:
1. Some prior experience working within a finance department, specifically dealing with suppliers
2. Good attention to detail
3. Happy to be office based
