Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of various racking and storage solutions looking to recruit a new sales person to cover and develop their client base across the South of England. This is a great opportunity for an individual from within the racking sector to assist in the growth of an already successful business and as a result, reap the rewards.
Responsibilities
1. Managing an existing client base on a national basis with a main focus on the South of England.
2. Business development across the same area.
3. Cross selling semi-automated products.
4. Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys, and providing customer quotes for racking and other equipment.
5. Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the sales of racking and storage solutions.
6. Take responsibility for the company's revenue stream and overall growth.
Requirements
Racking experience is essential for the role, but the company is looking for candidates who have come from a project sales background and can also demonstrate strong technical ability. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will ideally have experience of conducting site surveys and providing detailed quotations. Knowledge of CAD would be advantageous though by no means essential. Crucially, you will be attracted to the idea of building on an already successful business.

Their range of products includes pallet racking, steel partitioning, mezzanine floors, industrial shelving, and workplace equipment. They are now also the sole supplier for a number of Warehouse Robotics products across the UK. Established over 50 years ago, the organization is now making a push into Warehouse Automation so they can truly offer a complete solution to their client base.
