This position ensures that employees are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs efficiently, and that there is a clear, structured career progression path in place. This role includes identifying training needs, developing training materials, delivering training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure the goals of the business are met.. Your Responsibilities: Work closely with the Group Head of HR, Managing Directors (MDs), Heads of Departments (HODs), and Line Managers to identify training needs across the business, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Develop and implement tailored training programs that address the identified needs. This includes creating both in-person and online training modules. Deliver engaging and impactful in-person training sessions for employees at all levels, ensuring the content is relevant and well-received. Create and provide online training resources through the Learning Management System (LMS) that employees can access at their convenience. Continuously assess the effectiveness of training programs using feedback, assessments, and monitoring attendance. Follow up with employees post-training to measure the long-term impact and determine how the training has benefited both the business and the employees. Lead and manage the apprenticeship program in collaboration with the Internal Recruiter. Design and implement leadership, management, and supervisory development programs to build a strong pipeline of future leaders within the company. Oversee the training budget, ensuring that all training initiatives deliver value for money and align with the company’s financial guidelines. Person Specification: Essential Strong communication and presentation skills. In depth knowledge of instructional design and training methodologies. Experience with LMS (Learning Management Systems) and e-learning platforms. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Resilience and capacity to adapt to change. Desirables Experience in the hospitality industry is desirable. Further Info: Full-time role. 40 hours per week. A full valid UK driving licence is required. This role involves a mix of office-based work and on-site presence at our hotel and spa properties. Flexibility to travel between locations is essential.
