SEN 1:1 Behavioural Support Assistant (Long Term)

Location: Towcester
We are working closely with a SEN School situated in Towcester who are recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant from November 2024.
This role will require you to support class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students, provide 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning, and work closely with class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach.
As a TA, your duties will include:
* Providing support to pupils in various learning contexts, including the classroom, local environment, and community, to aid their learning, development, and progress across the curriculum.
* Empowering and supporting pupils with a range of needs, such as PMLD, complex medical conditions, and autism, to achieve their educational and personal goals.
* Promoting equality, diversity, and the rights of our pupils to be treated with respect and seen as learners.
* Placing emphasis on support and empowerment for our pupils.
* Promoting a greater understanding of Special Education issues and upholding the values of the school.
* Providing high-quality support in all aspects of the role.
* Participating in physical intervention and personal care routines, if required.
